Job description
About Fable
Fable creates beautiful, durable home decor designed for everyday living, enhancing homes one ritual at a time.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition strategies at scale, balancing a hands-on execution role with leadership responsibilities. This role demands proficiency in Meta and Google advertising platforms, sharp understanding of ecommerce financials, and a forward-thinking approach to integrating AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Fully manage paid acquisition across Meta and Google, including strategy, campaign architecture, budgeting, bidding, experimentation, and reporting, with daily hands-on involvement.
- Drive acquisition across a diverse product range—from tabletop items to rugs—each with unique margin profiles and customer behaviors.
- Tailor CAC targets, audience segmentation, and creative strategies for varying order values, from single items to full table settings, discerning when low-AOV entry points are viable.
- Develop comprehensive growth strategies and directly execute plans, setting priorities and achieving targets.
- Utilize AI-powered agents and MCP-connected tools to automate ad account management tasks like budget pacing, anomaly detection, creative updates, audience refreshment, quality assurance, and reporting.
- Manage multiple advertising platforms beyond Meta and Google, including programmatic and direct mail, Reddit, and Snapchat, adopting emerging channels as suitable.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brief, test, and scale effective performance creatives, providing actionable feedback beyond mere metrics.
- Coordinate with Retention and Brand teams to ensure customer acquisition efforts foster loyalty and align with Fable’s brand identity.
- Take ownership of key metrics such as blended CAC, MER, ROAS by product and AOV segment, contribution margin, and payback period, building appropriate reporting frameworks and maintaining insights.
- Lead a dynamic testing roadmap experimenting with new channels, formats, audiences, and offers, while swiftly discontinuing ineffective strategies.
- Continuously monitor and adapt to advances in paid media and AI technologies, maintaining a proactive, forward-looking stance.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- At least four years of experience in growth or performance marketing, preferably within direct-to-consumer or ecommerce brands managing multiple products.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, having personally constructed campaigns and managed their results rather than just overseeing.
- Strong command of ecommerce financial metrics including average order value, lifetime value, contribution margin, payback period, and unit economics to distinguish growth opportunities from costly inefficiencies.
- Experience marketing a multi-product catalog with the ability to strategically merchandise products via paid media rather than focusing on single items.
- Robust knowledge and ongoing usage of AI tools in advertising workflows; familiarity with agents, MCP platforms, or integrated tooling is highly advantageous.
- Ability to both set strategic direction and execute tasks hands-on without delay.
- A systems-oriented mindset prioritizing setup of efficient, scalable processes over repetitive manual work.
- Comfort thriving in uncertain environments and small team settings, embracing significant ownership.
- Strong writing skills and clarity of thought to transform complex advertising data into concise, actionable narratives.
- A good eye for design and brand sensitivity, integrating performance marketing with tasteful presentation.
- A genuine passion for home design and the consumer goods industry relevant to Fable’s offerings.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary with the potential for an annual bonus.
- Monthly wellness stipend of $200 for personal spending.
- Fully remote work environment, allowing work from anywhere with internet access.
- Comprehensive top-tier benefits and a flexible vacation policy.
- Complimentary dinnerware products.
