Job description
About Us
Bralower & Loewe is a dynamic and growing hospitality group managing eleven hotels across Germany, Belgium, and France undergoing rebranding with IHG to voco, Holiday Inn, and Garner. Operating from our Corporate Support Office in Wiesbaden, we provide essential services including Reservations, Revenue Management, Commercial Operations, Finance, People & Culture, and Technology to support our hotels' success.
Role Overview
As Group Reservations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing group bookings across all our hotels, with a strong focus on the German leisure group market. This segment is vital as it thrives on personalized service and prompt responses, bringing guests during quieter periods. You will be the primary contact for agencies, event organizers, and corporate clients while serving as the reliable point person for the hotels regarding group reservations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage group inquiries and reservations from tour operators, travel agencies, corporate and direct clients, predominantly in the German leisure segment.
- Monitor room allotments, rooming lists, hold deadlines, and approvals while keeping hotels informed of status updates.
- Prepare offers regarding rates and availability aligned with revenue guidelines; evaluate group profitability relative to individual guest bookings.
- Create contracts for groups and event organizers, ensuring all documentation is maintained accurately.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with agencies and event organizers driving group business.
- Support the Revenue Team with rate loading activities, especially during peak RFP (request for proposal) season.
- Utilize reservation, property management, and distribution systems and assist with transitioning group processes to proprietary platforms.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in hotel reservations, group bookings, or front office roles; familiarity with the German leisure groups market is advantageous but training will be provided if needed.
- Proficient German language skills and good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
- Able to handle multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously with composure and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills by phone and in writing, with a keen understanding of client and hotel needs.
- Comfortable working with hotel systems and Excel; motivated by system and process work.
- Eagerness to contribute actively to a young, growing company rather than being merely a cog in the machine.
Terms and Benefits
- Starting salary from 3000 EUR gross monthly for a 40-hour workweek, depending on experience.
- Permanent employment contract in a fast-growing environment with scope to actively shape your role.
- A collegial atmosphere where everyone, including leadership, interacts on a first-name basis; short communication channels and flat hierarchies.
- Work base at our Wiesbaden office with two days per week remote work allowed.
- Monthly team week in Wiesbaden for in-person collaboration.
- 28 days annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday.
- 50 EUR monthly benefit for expenses such as public transport tickets, bikes, fitness, and more.
- Capital-forming benefits and meaningful opportunities for ongoing training, from systems to market knowledge.
