Formed in 2020 by combining Pacific Direct Line with another major South Pacific shipping and logistics company, it provides fully integrated supply chain solutions across the region. The business is part of The Wonderful Company based in Los Angeles, which includes well-known brands like FIJI Water, JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, and POM Wonderful.

Role Overview

We are searching for a Group Operations & Logistics Coordinator to fulfill a vital coordinating role across our Logistics and Operations teams. This position enhances prioritization, tracks initiative progress, manages risks, and monitors performance to enable sound decision-making, enforcement of accountability, and successful delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact to coordinate among stakeholders, ensuring visibility and progress of commitments and deliverables within agreed deadlines.
  • Manage and organize priorities and initiatives across Logistics and Operations to promote efficient achievement of company goals.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, presentations, and business updates to highlight operational metrics, risks, projects, and action plans.
  • Create business cases, briefing documents, communications, and reports to back operational and strategic decisions.
  • Arrange governance meetings, leadership sessions, workshops, including agenda setting, facilitation, minute taking, and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Assist in planning, budgeting, project oversight, and reviewing performance across various operational areas.
  • Support leadership in tracking progress on business plans, strategic projects, and operational improvements.
  • Maintain project, action, risk, opportunity, and priority tracking systems enhancing transparency and accountability across involved parties.
  • Coordinate collection and analysis of information from different functions to aid reporting, planning, and decision-making.
  • Aid in updating and managing business documentation, standards, procedures, templates, and governance resources.
  • Identify and suggest improvements for coordination, communication, administration, planning, and reporting procedures.
  • Foster collaboration across functions to improve operational results and maintain the momentum of initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Highly organised and proactive with a knack for collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience in roles involving business coordination, administration, operations, logistics, or project support.
  • Proven skills producing reports, presentations, and governance documentation.
  • Experience collaborating across various stakeholders and departments.
  • Relevant educational background in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, Project Management, or related fields is preferred.

  • This is a permanent full-time role based in Auckland, New Zealand, with a hybrid working model.
