Job description

About Tharwah Group

Tharwah Group, listed on the Saudi Exchange (Nomu: 9606), specializes in building human capabilities. Through its subsidiaries—Tharwah Consulting, Tharwah Academy, Amjad Watan, and Tharwah Technologies—it supports government and private sector clients in developing workforce and leadership competencies aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. The group also operates Taqm, an AI-powered workforce agent platform.

Currently, the company is transforming its own operations by implementing AI agents for transactional work, with every agent assigned to a specific individual and leadership supported by AI to improve management and decision-making processes. The appointed Group AI Enablement Lead will drive this initiative into a live production environment.

Role Summary

You will spearhead the AI strategy and its operational execution across the entire group. Positioned within the Group's Strategy & Performance Office, you will collaborate closely with senior executives and department heads across subsidiaries and shared services. The focus is on delivering measurable results with live AI agents that reduce costs and enhance leader adoption, rather than research or advisory duties.

Key Responsibilities in First 12 Months

  • Deploy initial AI agents into production within departments such as finance, procurement, bids, government portals, and customer experience, ensuring accountability through named ownership, service levels, controls, and audit trails.
  • Establish baseline cost-per-transaction metrics prior to automation and report on realized savings.
  • Implement leadership-focused AI agents for executives and managers, fostering consistent weekly usage rather than superficial licensing metrics.
  • Develop detailed agent specifications and evaluation criteria, overseeing the acceptance or rejection of builds created by the internal technology team.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Internal Audit to create an AI governance framework addressing role-based data access, PDPL compliance, SDAIA AI ethics, and NCA regulatory controls.
  • Cultivate a network of process owners and AI advocates throughout the group to enhance their AI capabilities.
  • Leverage the internal AI enablement program as a successful case study for Tharwah’s client Workforce AI offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Over 10 years of professional experience, including at least two major technology-driven operating model or process transformation projects that reached live adoption with measured outcomes.
  • Direct, hands-on expertise in designing and deploying AI agents or large language model (LLM)-based workflows utilized in operational settings—experience with prompt engineering, tool integration, evaluation methods, and failure management is essential.
  • Strong skills in process architecture from strategic policy through detailed workflow design and ERP configuration.
  • Proven success in transforming the work practices of middle management, supported by quantitative evidence.
  • Ability to develop business cases and monitor actual cost savings realized.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English at a professional level, with credibility among senior Saudi executives.

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Experience with shared services, finance operations, or human resources operations transformations.
  • Familiarity with Odoo or major ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, especially at process or configuration levels.
  • Background in listed companies or regulated industries.
  • Consulting or professional services experience combined with in-house delivery roles.

Personal Attributes

You are a pragmatic builder who values humility and results. You are willing to discontinue unsuccessful pilots and confidently advise senior leaders when processes require change, accepting accountability through measurable targets. You believe AI agents should perform tasks while humans remain responsible for decisions.

What We Provide

  • A cross-organization mandate with direct engagement with top executives.
  • The opportunity to implement changes in a real operational environment rather than theoretical plans.
  • Performance-based compensation with variable pay linked to realized value.
  • The chance to establish a landmark example of an AI-enabled organization in Saudi Arabia.

Diversity Statement

Saudi nationals are particularly encouraged to submit applications.
