Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Groundworker position located in Leeds. Daily tasks focus on executing general groundworks such as excavation, trench formation, drainage system installation, concreting, and site preparation, all aligned with project specifications. The role includes assisting with landscaping, foundational reinstatement, and surfacing tasks, while working safely around or operating heavy machinery and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform excavation and trenching operations as per project guidelines.
• Install drainage systems and complete concreting works.
• Prepare sites for ongoing construction activities and assist with landscaping and basic reinstatement.
• Operate or work safely alongside plant and machinery.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to maintain workplace safety.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, plant operators, and team members to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience in all facets of groundworks, including kerbing, edgings, flagging, drainage, and complete plot finishing to a high standard.
• Strong commitment to on-site health and safety practices.
• Must hold relevant certifications and CSCS cards, such as those for operating 360 dumpers and rollers.
