Position Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the outdoor environments, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other facilities at Hunters Pointe Apartments in Carlsbad, CA. This full-time role offers a customer-centric environment and opportunities for growth with a pay range between $20.00 and $21.00 per hour, along with a full benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute minor routine maintenance tasks as assigned by the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, including support during turnover processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of the community grounds throughout the day to clear debris and ensure that all common areas — such as lawns, planting beds, parking lots, sidewalks, ramps, hallways, lobbies, and stairwells — are clean, tidy, and free of litter.
• Remove any debris and leftover items from vacant units prior to make-ready preparations, properly dispose of trash in dumpsters or storage areas, and maintain cleanliness in storage facilities.
• Perform any additional duties as required to maintain community standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferably possess at least one year of groundskeeping experience.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills and effective interpersonal communication capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Highly attentive to detail with well-developed organizational skills.
• Capable of contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
