Role Overview

The Groundskeeper is tasked with maintaining the exterior and selected interior property areas to ensure they remain clean, safe, and orderly.

Key Duties

• Perform daily maintenance of the property's buildings and grounds, including trash collection and removal.
• Manage and maintain care, upkeep, and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property or management company.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and apply de-icers to reduce ice accumulation.
• Consistently adhere to OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Identify and report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances impacting the property or its residents.
• Maintain proper uniform standards and present a professional demeanor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries and situations.
• Have thorough familiarity with company policies and community procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using groundskeeping tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Capability to make independent decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Ability to comprehend and execute detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions.
• Problem-solving skills to address concrete issues in routine situations.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative in completing assigned tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage between $18.00 and $21.00.
