Role Summary

This full-time Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining and installing landscape materials of the highest standard within the resort's public areas, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and install landscapes at a detailed, high-quality level within public spaces of the resort.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and promptly report any hazardous conditions or unsafe practices.
• Timely report facility-related issues through the resort's system.
• Complete all assigned duties and responsibilities as necessary.
• Keep designated areas free from weeds and litter.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as walk-behind lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and weed eaters.
• Regularly inspect equipment fluids and lubricate grease fittings to ensure proper maintenance.
• Follow the standards of conduct outlined in the Associate Handbook.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in grounds maintenance and operating landscaping equipment is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers, management, and guests.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Regular physical activities include walking, standing, and use of hands; occasionally sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling.
• Frequent lifting or moving of items weighing up to 90 pounds.
• Visual acuity required includes close and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus.
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
• Moderate noise levels typical in the work environment.
