Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning within the grocery section to ensure readiness for customers at all times.
• Regularly rotate stock to uphold freshness, removing products that are expired or damaged.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage by following the company's procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling, and flagging.
• Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation, and cleaning protocols to preserve a hygienic workplace.
• Keep the department fully stocked by restocking merchandise and picks, completing downstocking tasks, applying product protection, and setting modular displays including flex modulars and new shelf caps.
• Follow company health and safety policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational requirements.

Challenges

• Manage high task volumes efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight hours by planning and maintaining focus and energy.
• Complete large volumes of restocking and recovery work promptly and accurately.
• Meet physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting inventory weighing up to 20 lbs regularly, and sometimes up to 50 lbs, along with repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing with attention to detail.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.50.
