About the Role

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appropriate zoning in the grocery department to ensure it is always presentable for customers.
• Regularly rotate stock and remove expired or damaged items to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Accurately price and label merchandise while following established procedures for ordering, markdowns, pricing, and signage.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols to preserve a safe work environment.
• Keep the department fully stocked and execute shelving setups including modulars, flex modulars, and shelf caps as required.
• Comply with health and safety policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Remain flexible by working various shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays to support operational needs.

Challenges in this Position

• Effectively manage high work volume in a fast-paced environment, especially during overnight shifts, remaining energized and focused.
• Complete extensive restocking and recovery efficiently and accurately.
• Perform physically demanding tasks including standing long periods, bending, lifting products up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking with meticulous attention.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.40.
