Role Overview

The company seeks a skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer & Video Editor with over two years of pertinent experience to reinforce its creative and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating concepts into captivating visual assets and compelling videos for a variety of digital outlets such as social media, websites, digital marketing, branding initiatives, and corporate communications.

Primary Duties

• Craft engaging designs for social media posts, Instagram stories and reels covers, banners, brochures, presentations, and digital advertising materials.
• Develop visually cohesive designs consistent with MindAxis' brand guidelines.
• Edit reels, short videos, promotional clips, corporate videos, and social content including transitions, animated text, subtitles, background music, motion graphics, and special effects.
• Create marketing creatives suitable for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Ads.
• Design website visuals, user interface elements, infographics, thumbnails, and promotional graphics.
• Adapt and optimize creatives for diverse social media platforms.
• Enhance and retouch images for both digital and print media campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing, Content, Development, and Management teams to convert briefs into striking visuals.
• Maintain brand consistency regarding typography, color schemes, layouts, and overall identity.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to schedules.
• Keep updated on trends in graphic design, video editing, creative direction, and social media formats.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design and video editing roles.
• Educational background preferably includes a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation, or a comparable discipline.
• Robust portfolio demonstrating graphic and video editing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva.
• Familiarity with After Effects, Figma, CorelDRAW, CapCut, or similar software is advantageous.
• Thorough knowledge of typography, color theory, composition, branding, and visual hierarchy principles.
• Experience designing for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, understanding platform-specific video formats and dimensions.
• Basic skills in motion graphics and animation preferred.
• Strong creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within teams.
• Excellent communication skills and project management abilities to meet deadlines.

Preferred Competencies

• Expertise in social media creative design.
• Skill in editing reels and short-form videos.
• Ability to design YouTube thumbnails effectively.
• Understanding and implementation of branding and corporate identity.
• Experience with motion graphics and digital advertising creatives.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools.
