Graphic Designer

Job Overview

We are searching for a meticulous and proficient Graphic Designer to become part of our team in Chennai. The role requires reviewing customer-submitted files, ensuring orders are processed within designated timeframes, and redesigning or recreating artwork as necessary to guarantee the final print output meets high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and verify customer files to confirm readiness for printing.
• Manage print jobs for the store and local projects, delivering within promised deadlines.
• Prioritize tasks particularly for urgent or fast-track orders.
• Flag orders as Kept on Hold (KOH) when files are unsuitable for production and inform customers accordingly.
• Communicate directly with customers to resolve design-related questions.
• Adjust or redesign artwork according to product specifications to prepare files for printing.
• Recreate logos or comprehensive designs if customers cannot provide original source files.
• Promptly address and fix file errors to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Liaise with customers regarding file issues, printing specifications, and alternative solutions.
• Coordinate with technical support to clarify queries and guide customers properly.
• Provide customers with mockup previews explaining any print limitations or possible color discrepancies.
• Efficiently handle design requests for large-volume orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Understanding of printing standards including bleed, margins, resolution, and color profiles.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
• Capacity to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.
