Internship Role and Responsibilities
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will collaborate closely with multiple teams to contribute to various design projects. Your primary tasks will involve:
- Performing fundamental CAD work on company devices, including part modeling, assembling simple mechanisms, producing technical drawings, and implementing design revisions alongside the engineering team.
- Creating packaging designs such as cartons, inserts, labels, and instructional materials, ensuring they are accurately prepared for print.
- Designing brochures, one-pagers, exhibition materials, and creative content for campaigns aligned with established brand guidelines.
- Developing user interface designs for the company's app and website, from initial wireframes through to developer handoff.
- Maintaining and enhancing brand consistency across all published materials, extending brand guidelines when necessary.
- Engaging directly with teams across engineering, marketing, and clinical domains, as well as interacting with parents and clinicians whenever possible.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship based in Bangalore.
- The internship duration is six months, with a starting window between September 5th, 2026, and October 10th, 2026.
- Relevant skills and interests in product and graphic design are essential.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in both product and graphic design is required and considered more important than academic CVs.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalents is mandatory.
- Skilled use of design software including Figma for UI tasks, and Adobe Illustrator or InDesign for print and marketing materials.
- Understanding of print production fundamentals including bleed, color management, materials, and what reliably translates into a print run.
- A strong focus on user-centric design, prioritizing clarity and usability to accommodate nurses and parents handling the products.
- Ability to receive and incorporate feedback swiftly with a willingness to iterate designs.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in product design, industrial design, communication design, or closely related disciplines.
Compensation and Perks
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000.
- Internship length of six months.
- Certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation at internship conclusion.
- Five-day workweek with a casual dress code.
