About Harshaz Studio
Harshaz Studio, managed by artist Harsha Durugadda in Hyderabad, specializes in sculptural artworks. Durugadda's creations have been internationally recognized, exhibiting at prestigious venues like Sotheby's New York (in partnership with Burning Man), Nord Art in Germany, and Sculpture by the Sea in Australia, where he earned the Rio Tinto Sculpture Award. His presentations include the British Museum in London, and his sculptures feature in notable collections such as Busselton Jetty (Australia), Bangalore Airport, and the RMZ Foundation.
Internship Role and Responsibilities
The selected intern will be responsible for designing and refining CAD models tailored to project needs, utilizing software like ArtCAM and PowerMILL to develop tool paths for CNC machining. Tasks also involve preparing files suitable for 3D printing, working closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability, drafting detailed technical drawings and production documentation, and participating in design critique sessions to integrate constructive feedback into CAD models.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship in Hyderabad or Moinabad, able to begin between September 7 and October 12, 2026, and commit to a 3-month tenure. Candidates should possess relevant technical skills and a strong interest in CAD design.
