Graphic Artist

Overview

This position calls for a skilled Graphic Artist to work onsite at an animation studio located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The candidate will be responsible for adapting existing illustrations, creating realistic or representational sketches, and producing final illustrations. Additional duties include generating 2-D and 3-D animations or computer-generated illustrations that align with clients' goals.

Responsibilities

• Modify and enhance existing illustrations.
• Create realistic sketches and finalized artwork.
• Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer-generated illustrations.
• Develop graphic components that fulfill client objectives.

Requirements

• Must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
• Fluent in English.
• Relevant certification or diploma in other trades.
• Proficient with animation and visual effects production art.
• Strong knowledge of computer tools including Houdini, NUKE, Adobe Suite, Autodesk Maya, MS Office, and Python.
• Must be able to work onsite at the studio; remote work is not available.
• Experience working within an animation studio setting is required.
