About Workers Group

We seek a skilled Graphic & Digital Designer to enhance our marketing team by creating vibrant brand campaigns and experiences across both digital and physical platforms.
Role Overview
The Graphic & Digital Designer will craft compelling and on-brand creatives for venues and marketing channels. This includes designing for social media, digital campaigns, printed materials, signage, digital screens, animation, and video content. This hands-on role is based in our Blacktown headquarters and suits a designer who enjoys diverse creative formats, multitasking, and knows how to design for both print and digital mediums.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce creative assets for marketing campaigns, events, promotions, and communications within venues.
- Design materials for social media, websites, electronic direct mails (EDMs), digital advertisements, and other online channels.
- Create content for in-venue digital displays, including slides, motion graphics, and animations.
- Manage uploading, scheduling, and overseeing media on digital screens across clubs, and produce high-quality print-ready artwork such as menus, flyers, banners, posters, signage, brochures, and promotional collateral.
- Ensure print artworks are prepared accurately with proper sizing, bleed, crop marks, color profiles, and resolution.
- Develop engaging motion graphics, animations, and video content tailored for digital and social platforms.
- Edit short promotional videos, reels, and venue footage.
- Work within established brand guidelines while injecting fresh ideas into campaigns.
- Adapt and resize creative assets for various formats, venues, and platforms.
- Handle multiple briefs and meet deadlines in a dynamic hospitality and entertainment environment.
- Maintain well-organized creative files, templates, and digital assets.
- Ensure accuracy, visual appeal, and consistent branding across all Workers Group creative materials.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in graphic and digital design roles, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, retail, sport, or fast-moving consumer sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong command of Canva.
- Solid design fundamentals including typography, layouts, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Expertise in creating digital content and designs for social media and web platforms.
- Skill in motion graphics and animation.
- Competency in video editing.
- Knowledge of preparing print-ready files.
- Ability to handle diverse creative formats and sizes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and visual standards.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork spirit.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with digital signage and screen management systems.
- Design work for large format digital and venue screens.
- Background in hospitality settings such as clubs, pubs, restaurants, or entertainment and sports sectors.
- Photography and image retouching skills.
- Understanding of digital advertising specifications and formats.
- Experience creating short-form content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Basic knowledge of brand management and marketing strategies.
