Role Overview

We are seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing, highly skilled team across Australia. This position involves working on local and international projects, providing geotechnical design and analysis services, including ground interpretation, foundation and retaining wall design, slope stability evaluation, and finite element analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical design and analytical tasks such as ground condition interpretation, foundation and retaining wall design, slope stability evaluation, and finite element modeling.
• Supervise inspections and on-site works across Australia to ensure project standards.
• Implement standardized procedures for deliverables and perform peer reviews to maintain consistency and excellence in technical outputs.
• Follow company processes for efficient service management, delivery, and administration.
• Adapt positively to organizational changes and align behaviours with company values and business objectives.
• Promote and uphold the company’s Health and Safety policies in all activities.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors or line management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree with distinction or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Fundamental understanding of Australian Standards as well as national and international engineering standards.
• Basic knowledge of contract forms, construction methods, and civil engineering procedures.
• Interest in working within consultancy on complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office; willingness to develop skills in specialized structural analysis software pertinent to the role.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
• Ability to perform under pressure, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary groups.
• Self-driven, committed, and demonstrating high integrity.
