Role Overview

As a Graduate Finance Assistant located in Bedford, you will support the finance and accounting team by maintaining organisation and efficiency in financial operations. Your contributions will help the smooth day-to-day functioning of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Help maintain precise financial records and reports.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts.
• Support reconciliation tasks including bank and supplier statements.
• Manage invoice processing and ensure timely payment settlements.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audit activities by supplying required documents and data.
• Carry out general administrative duties to aid the finance team.

Candidate Profile

• Degree holder in finance, accounting, or related disciplines.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software is advantageous.
• Self-motivated with a keen willingness to learn and develop.
