Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Goldsmith possessing at least five years of professional bench experience to join our workshop. The role involves crafting fine and high-end jewellery, requiring a practitioner who values craftsmanship and combines technical expertise with an acute sense of proportion, detail, and finish. The successful candidate will be experienced in producing jewellery to rigorous standards, capable of handling delicate and intricate work with precision.

Responsibilities

• Create, assemble, and finish fine jewellery pieces consistently achieving high-quality standards.
• Interpret design concepts and technical specifications, focusing on construction, proportion, and practical wearability.
• Confidently manage intricate pieces demanding precision and sound decision-making.
• Conduct thorough self-inspections and address any technical challenges encountered.
• Organize and prioritize workload to meet agreed deadlines without compromising quality.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes for each jewellery item.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ professional experience as an active goldsmith.
• Strong background in producing fine jewellery, particularly high-end items.
• Exceptional traditional bench skills, comprehensive knowledge of precious metals, and jewellery construction principles.
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding accuracy and finishing.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative workshop setting.
• Dependable, well-organized, and responsible in managing personal work and deadlines.

Additional Details

• Work Location: Hatton Garden, London.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Salary: Commensurate with experience.
