Role Summary
We invite a qualified actuary to join our GMP (Guaranteed Minimum Pension) Equalisation team in Belfast. This role centers on addressing complex GMP challenges through innovative actuarial solutions within a large specialist team. Previous GMP calculation experience is beneficial but not mandatory if the candidate has a strong aptitude for complex actuarial problem solving.
Key Duties
- Assist clients by reviewing and authorizing complicated actuarial models and calculations related to GMP equalisation.
- Evaluate and approve written advice provided to clients regarding GMP issues.
- Optionally present these advisory insights directly to clients during meetings.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the GMP team, client groups, and other departments within XPS.
- As GMP-related projects conclude, explore broader technical career opportunities across diverse specialist actuarial areas.
- Participate in specialist research and development initiatives, contributing resources and innovative ideas to enhance team performance.

Qualifications
- Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) qualification.
Compensation and Benefits
