About Knowledge Networks
Knowledge Networks (KN) is a United States-based organization dedicated to delivering education and fostering dialogue among key figures shaping artificial intelligence—such as national ministers, parliamentarians, judges, journalists, and executives within Fortune 500 AI companies. These leaders are instrumental in defining AI governance and regulation worldwide.
KN runs five principal programs: The AI Cabinet (peer discussions among ministers managing national AI policies), the NOMAI Fellowship (providing AI governance training to current lawmakers), AI on the Bench (an educational fellowship tailored for judges engaging with AI in judicial processes), the ERAI Fellowship (ethics and responsible AI instruction for active journalists), and CAIO Connect (a podcast and peer network for Chief AI Officers in enterprises).
All initiatives by KN are grounded in a firm commitment to education over influence, with no lobbying, political bias, or access brokering. This impartial approach is integral to the trust placed in KN by officials and experts and epitomizes the responsibilities of an Ambassador.
Role Overview
The program selects one Global Ambassador for each innovation hub worldwide, aiming to appoint approximately 70 emerging AI leaders across 70+ cities for the Class of 2026. Ambassadors are local individuals already engaged in advancing their AI ecosystem who aspire to represent KN's mission within their communities.
This voluntary, part-time position is not salaried. Ambassadors participate in a quarterly cycle where their contributions are matched by specific benefits provided by KN. The emphasis is placed on quality engagement rather than quantity.
Responsibilities
- Serve as KN's local representative by hosting, co-hosting, or officially representing KN at one AI-related event or gathering in your city each quarter.
- Guide potential participants by referring qualified candidates to relevant KN programs per the established eligibility rules, without engaging in recruitment or selection decisions.
- Contribute one brief insight or commentary each quarter regarding developments in your city’s AI governance landscape.
- Adhere to the Ambassador Code, maintaining nonpartisan conduct, avoiding lobbying, and refraining from facilitating introductions to officials—serving as a symbol of KN’s mission rather than a gateway to influence.

Candidates usually have between five to ten years of professional experience and are currently contributing to AI discourse within their cities.
