About the Role and Company
Join AB Agri as a Global Payroll Advisor, contributing to a leading international agri-food enterprise dedicated to enabling responsible, efficient, and sustainable food production worldwide. This role is based in Peterborough with a hybrid or remote working option, offering a salary starting at £35,000 alongside a comprehensive benefits package which includes a discretionary performance bonus and pension contributions matched up to 10%.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure precise and timely payroll processing for both UK and international employees, collaborating closely with external payroll teams.
- Validate payroll information, conduct reconciliations, and investigate any discrepancies to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Offer expert advice and resolve payroll-related queries for staff and People teams.
- Oversee payroll tasks in line with relevant laws, internal controls, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist with payroll audits, transitions between providers, system upgrades, and testing processes.
- Establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and payroll service providers while seeking opportunities to enhance payroll operations and service quality.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience handling payroll for UK and international employees.
- Familiarity with managing outsourced payroll providers and using payroll platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or similar tools.
- Deep knowledge of payroll legislation, governance, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and cultivate effective relationships across different countries, teams, and time zones.
