Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Drive client acquisition and increase Assets Under Management (AUM) by expanding business development initiatives and managing relationships with professional investors, institutional clients, intermediaries, and sophisticated investors in Taiwan and Greater China.
- Provide advisory services by delivering market insights, product recommendations, and execution strategies across equities, fixed income, structured products, and other capital market instruments.
- Offer clients timely and pertinent market intelligence, trading ideas, and investment approaches tailored to their specific needs and risk tolerance.
- Work closely with research, trading, and product departments to provide all-encompassing investment and capital market solutions.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements including MAS guidelines, cross-border compliance, FATCA/CRS, and anti-money laundering protocols.
- Maintain client engagement and meticulously document business pipeline and sales activities to support ongoing business growth.
Requirements
- Possess a degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of five years’ experience in institutional sales, capital markets, securities brokerage, wealth management, or client relationship roles demonstrating a strong record of business development and revenue growth.
- Hold CMFAS qualifications along with a valid MAS Representative License.
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of capital markets including equities, fixed income, funds, structured products, and other investment options.
- Possess excellent communication skills capable of effectively engaging clients and collaborating with internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and manage a wide array of client relationships efficiently.
- Be self-driven, highly motivated, and focused on delivering outstanding results.
- Mandarin language proficiency is preferred to serve clients in Taiwan and Greater China effectively.
