Role Overview
We seek an insightful and commercially savvy Global Demand & Inventory Planner to join our Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. This key position involves leading demand forecasting, inventory strategy, and reporting on a global scale. The role requires collaboration with Finance, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to translate business activities into actionable supply plans that meet customer expectations and align with financial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and uphold a rigorous demand planning process integrating sales pipelines, customer commitments, and historic demand data for precise forecasts.
- Take a leading role in monthly demand review sessions contributing to the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
- Develop and refine inventory reporting mechanisms to provide transparent insights into stock status, availability, and capital utilization.
- Collaborate across departments to confirm assumptions and ensure demand plans are consistent with strategic goals.
- Track and influence principal inventory and supply chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within forecasting inputs and enhance planning tools and governance processes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in demand planning, supply/inventory management, or S&OP within supply chain functions.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Salesforce, ERP systems, Excel, Power BI, or comparable planning software.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions and influence stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, and operational teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, commercially aware, and comfortable navigating uncertain or ambiguous situations.
- Background in technology, hardware manufacturing, or logistics sectors is advantageous.
