Team Overview
The Sales team at &Open is a vibrant and rapidly growing group that plays a vital role in the company's expansion. The team members are creative problem solvers dedicated to crafting simple solutions for complex challenges and fostering long-term client relationships. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this role collaborates closely with account executives and marketing professionals.
Role Description
We are looking for a Global Business Development Representative to join our expanding Sales team. The role involves acquiring in-depth knowledge of our target markets and driving engagement and sales through persistent outreach and relationship-building. The ideal candidate is proactive, passionate, and brings a few years of relevant experience, leading by example within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt a hunter mindset focused on generating pipeline through outbound cold calling and email campaigns.
- Manage both inbound and outbound leads, handling daily sales activities and qualifying leads to deepen engagement.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline by engaging prospects through various channels including inbound queries, outbound efforts, social networks, and referrals.
- Oversee and diligently maintain the sales CRM to ensure data accuracy and insight.
- Gain thorough understanding of the target market's needs and challenges, synthesizing insights to inform the team and stay ahead of competitors.
- Act as a passionate ambassador for &Open's innovative corporate gifting solutions, listening carefully to understand prospects' requirements.
- Collaborate creatively with team members to develop target account lists and identify new avenues for business growth.
Candidate Requirements
- 1-2 years of pertinent experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or marketing roles.
- At least one year of experience working within tech, media, or creative industry environments.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce platforms.
- Experience in B2B SaaS enterprise sales is considered advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with clear, confident, and personable delivery fostering genuine connections.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both internal colleagues and external partners to meet shared objectives.
- Aptitude for quick learning paired with creativity and innovation.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and strong passion for the role and &Open's offerings.
- Strong attention to detail in executing both internal tasks and client-facing outputs.
- Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
- A resilient, positive attitude suited to a dynamic business development function.
- Ability to maintain empathy and engagement with prospective clients, while coordinating effectively with the broader &Open team.
