GIS, Remote Sensing & GeoAI Instructor

About the Role

Futurise Training Institute, located in Dubai Knowledge Park, is looking for an experienced instructor to teach GIS, Remote Sensing, and GeoAI across beginner to advanced courses. This role involves imparting hands-on training and theory to students and professionals through both in-person and online formats, primarily on weekends and flexible schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and theoretical instruction on essential GIS concepts, spatial data handling, and mapping software.
• Train learners in remote sensing methods, including satellite image processing and environmental analytics.
• Educate students on GeoAI applications, such as deep learning for geospatial data mining and AI-enhanced spatial workflows.
• Conduct classes onsite at Dubai Knowledge Park and via online platforms for diverse group formats like weekend and flexible batches.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational background in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or Spatial Computing; however, substantial hands-on experience is valued more than formal degrees.
• Proven expertise working with GIS software, remote sensing technologies, and the integration of AI methods in geospatial contexts.
• Excellent communication and pedagogical skills capable of guiding novices as well as seasoned professionals.

Location and Working Conditions

Candidates must be based in or capable of commuting to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
