GIS Analyst

About the Role

This opportunity is open only to candidates currently residing in the UAE. The position specifically targets professionals with a background as GIS Analysts; data analysis experience outside GIS is not applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, process, and handle spatial and geographic datasets meticulously.
• Develop precise maps, conduct spatial analyses, and compile geospatial reports.
• Keep GIS databases and geodatabases current and well-maintained.
• Carry out spatial data processing, analysis, and visualization using GIS tools.
• Assist technical teams in daily GIS-related tasks and projects.
• Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and quality of geographic information.
• Create thematic maps, detailed reports, and other GIS outputs as needed.
• Support GIS data acquisition, editing, and integration processes.
• Utilize GIS software effectively to analyze and clearly present spatial data.

Qualifications & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least three years of professional experience working with GIS technologies.
• Competency with GIS platforms, specifically ArcGIS and QGIS.
• Strong expertise in spatial data analysis, processing, and geospatial information management.
• A solid understanding of geographic databases and effective data management practices.
