Role Overview

We invite applications for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Norwich office. This position involves contributing to various infrastructure, utility, and development projects across the UK. Responsibilities include conducting ground investigations, interpreting technical data, preparing reports, supporting design and assessment tasks, collaborating with clients and colleagues, managing project delivery, and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee ground investigation projects
• Analyse and interpret geo-environmental and geotechnical data
• Compile factual and interpretative technical reports
• Assist with geotechnical design and evaluation
• Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders effectively
• Support project management and successful technical delivery
• Help expand and maintain client partnerships

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant academic background in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-environmental Engineering, or similar field
• At least three years of industry experience in geotechnical or geo-environmental roles
• Familiarity with UK site investigation methods and practices
• Knowledge of standards including BS5930 and Eurocode 7
• Proven ability in developing technical reports and assessments
• Excellent communication and organisational capabilities
• Holders of a valid UK driving license
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
