About the Role
We invite applications for a Geography Teacher to join Wycombe Abbey, a prestigious boarding school for girls known for its world-class education. Application and Recruitment Process
Candidates must complete an application form and submit it along with a cover letter addressed to the Headmistress, Mrs. J Duncan. The closing date for applications is 11 October 2026, with interviews scheduled for the week commencing 12 October 2026. Early applications are encouraged as the school reserves the right to appoint before the closing date if suitable candidates are found.
Safeguarding and Legal Requirements
The successful applicant will undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check due to the role's contact with minors. Applicants must honestly declare any unspent convictions and any relevant spent convictions or cautions in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and its exceptions. It is an offence for barred individuals to apply for this position.
