Job description
Job Title:
Geographic Information System Specialist (GIS Specialist) – Recent Graduate
Location & Work Hours:
Position based in Riyadh with full-time attendance required.
Job Objective:
To gather and process spatial information and produce digital maps supporting operational and engineering project requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Entering and verifying geographic and descriptive data in spatial databases.
- Converting paper maps and plans into georeferenced digital layers.
- Designing and producing thematic maps and technical reports for projects.
- Carrying out simple spatial analyses and providing updated data support to the technical team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor's in Geographic Information Systems, Survey Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates with 0 to 1 year experience.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro or QGIS software.
- Understanding of coordinate systems and georeferencing techniques.
- High accuracy in data handling and meticulous attention to detail.
