Role Overview

The position involves performing routine maintenance and servicing on our fleet of generators, sized between 25 and 100 kVA, mainly housed within service pods or welfare units, to ensure their reliability for rental purposes. Additional duties include assisting the depot's operational team with maintenance tasks and preparation of buildings for delivery. This may involve plumbing, electrical, joinery work, repairs, and installing or adjusting general fixtures and fittings.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should be qualified or time-served generator engineers with hands-on experience servicing generators up to 117 kVA. Practical knowledge of industrial trades such as joinery, plumbing, and electrical work is highly advantageous. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Working Hours & Pay

• Hourly wage: £18.55
• Weekly hours: 45 - Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base hourly rate
