Work Environment

Located at the Glenbrook Clinic within the RAAF Base Glenbrook, set in the scenic foothills of the NSW Blue Mountains, this small base hosts Air Command and offers community events and recreational facilities including walking tracks, a pool, gym, and tennis courts. The clinic delivers integrated primary medical, dental, nursing, mental health, physiotherapy, and aviation medical services with standard hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday, and until 2:00 PM on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent primary care services to Defence personnel.
• Work within an occupational medicine setting performing fitness-for-duty evaluations, pre- and post-deployment care, injury and chronic disease management, and preventive health interventions.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on patient wellness.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold unrestricted General Practitioner registration with AHPRA.
• Possess FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration credentials.
• Have a minimum of two years of GP experience within the past five years in a general practice environment.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) is mandatory.
• Australian citizenship is required to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
• Demonstrate dedication to continuous professional development and ethical patient-centered care.
