Role Overview

This position is a full-time VR General Practitioner role based onsite in the Greater Melbourne Area. The successful candidate will receive 80% of their billing. Daily duties include examining patients, ordering and reviewing tests, prescribing treatments, and maintaining thorough clinical documentation. Additionally, the role involves delivering preventive care such as immunisations, health assessments, and chronic disease management plans while working closely with nurses and allied health staff.

The GP will actively take part in clinical team meetings, contribute to continuous practice improvement efforts, and offer health education and counselling services to individuals and families.

• Excellent clinical expertise in medicine and primary care, with capability managing a wide array of general practice conditions.
• Proficiency in family medicine, ensuring continuity of care across all life stages for individuals and families.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary health teams.
• Dedication to ongoing professional training and development, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of clinical guidelines.
• Possession of a relevant medical degree and full registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate Australian medical board.
