Tui Medical is a prominent primary healthcare provider based in Waikato, New Zealand, operating seven General Practice clinics alongside two Urgent Care centers. Position Summary
We are currently inviting experienced General Practitioners who either possess Fellowship with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) or are in their GPEP3 training year to join our clinics located in Te Rapa, Central, and Huntly. The role entails being at the forefront of patient care, executing diagnostics, treatments, and preventive health services within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complete clinical care across patient demographics
- Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnoses, and design appropriate treatment plans
- Encourage and implement preventative health measures and patient education
- Supervise medical students, PGY, and GPEP trainees
- Maintain and update patient documentation in line with medical standards
- Collaborate effectively with health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Build and sustain professional relationships with patients
- Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity in medical practice
- Engage in research and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Current registration as a General Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Fellowship accreditation with the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP)
- Demonstrated clinical competence managing diverse patient complaints
- Commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to best clinical practices
- Valid active Indemnity Insurance cover
- Full vaccination against COVID-19
- Experience with MedTech Evolution or Indici systems is advantageous
