Role Overview

We are actively recruiting General Practitioners (GPs) for our expanding clinical team in Riyadh. In this role, you will deliver safe and superior medical care through iDoc’s digital healthcare platform and clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to manage common acute and chronic medical conditions within general practice scope.
• Perform clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, follow-ups, and provide patient education.
• Identify critical symptoms (red flags) and determine when urgent care, emergency intervention, specialist referrals, or in-person assessments are necessary.
• Review lab results and investigations, communicating findings and recommendations appropriately.
• Prescribe medications following Saudi Arabian regulations, clinical guidelines, and iDoc policies.
• Ensure comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation using iDoc’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Utilize AI-assisted clinical tools responsibly while maintaining independent clinical judgment and patient care accountability.
• Engage in clinical quality assurance, patient safety initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, operational, product, and technology teams to enhance the digital patient experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of MBBS or an equivalent recognized medical degree.
• Valid classification as a General Practitioner by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Active SCFHS Professional Registration.
• Preferably over 5 years of clinical experience following internship in General Practice, Primary Care, or Family Medicine.
• Proven ability to independently manage common acute and chronic cases.
• Thorough knowledge of urgent care indicators, patient safety, referral protocols, and emergency escalation processes.
• Excellent proficiency in Arabic communication and strong command of English.
• Comfortable interaction with EMR and digital healthcare technologies.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Riyadh.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous clinical experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Experience managing chronic diseases.
• Background in telemedicine or virtual healthcare delivery.
• Practiced in electronic prescribing, laboratory test ordering, and results management.
• Passion for advancing digital healthcare services and AI-supported clinical workflows.
