Role Overview
The General Operative will perform various tasks within the Meat Preparation section of Production, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meat products that comply with safety and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Unpacking meat deliveries efficiently.
- Following recipe formulations accurately.
- Entering data related to production processes.
- Operating equipment for mincing and chopping meat.
- Maintaining strict adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborating with the production team to accomplish production targets while sustaining product quality.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in meat preparation or a relevant area is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Capability to handle and transport products weighing up to 25 kg within a chilled production environment.
- Basic proficiency in spoken and written English to facilitate effective communication and teamwork.
- Fundamental computer literacy.
- Flexibility in working hours with readiness to cover evening shifts as necessary.
