Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional assistance by welcoming customers, aiding in product choices, promoting items and services, locating merchandise, supporting purchase decisions, and managing or escalating customer issues as necessary.
• Manage assigned sales floor sections and support checkout area coverage when needed; coordinate with team members to maintain floor presence and meet customer demands.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of specified areas, relocate featured merchandise to designated spots, and process returns and recovery items from Customer Service and other store locations.
• Replenish stock, perform downstocking tasks, apply product safeguards as required, and assemble display units including flexible and new modular shelf arrangements.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free workspace by adhering to company policies, completing safety checks, and securing displays and fixtures.
• Adapt to diverse work schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, contributing to smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

Challenges Associated with the Role

• Handle a demanding workload in a fast-paced setting, effectively managing overnight shifts to stay alert and productive.
• Plan work hours strategically to maintain energy and focus throughout shifts.
• Complete substantial restocking and recovery tasks accurately and within expected timeframes.
• Meet physical demands including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting supplies or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive duties like stocking and organizing products with precision to uphold store presentation standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.75.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria
