Job Overview
This role is for a General Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant run by an independent franchisee located in Cherryville, NC. The franchisee operates independently from McDonald's USA and is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions, including hiring, supervision, and scheduling. McDonald's USA has no involvement in the employment process.
Position Summary
The General Manager is accountable for the restaurant's profitability and ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role involves collaboration with leadership to set goals and implement plans to achieve them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting their goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to enhance department performance.
- Oversee hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to maintain effective leadership.
- Ensure restaurant operations consistently meet customer satisfaction standards.
Preferred Experience and Requirements
- Experience as a General Manager in high-volume quick service restaurant locations is highly preferred.
- Background in hospitality or retail sectors is also favorable.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for managerial roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary ranges between $50,000 and $65,000, with additional annual considerations from $48,500 up to $75,000.
- Competitive wages with bi-weekly General Manager meetings.
