The franchisee is a separate legal entity and your direct employer, responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, scheduling, supervision, and discipline. Key Responsibilities

The General Manager oversees a profitable restaurant operation, ensuring it meets McDonald's stringent standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. Working in partnership with senior leadership, you will define business objectives and design strategies to achieve them.

You will manage and support a leadership team composed of Department and Shift Managers by setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching to enhance departmental performance and overall results. Recruiting and grooming future managerial staff is also a critical duty to build a strong team for ongoing success.

Qualifications

Successful candidates typically have prior experience as a General Manager, especially in high-volume quick service restaurant settings, though backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also relevant. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to hold this managerial role within the franchise.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary depending on experience from $45,000 to $90,000 annually
• Overtime compensation at $25-$30 per hour for hours exceeding 40 per week
