About the Role
This role is based at a restaurant owned and managed by Opstad Consolidated Enterprises, Inc., an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald’s branding and products. Please note that this franchisee operates independently from McDonald’s USA and handles all employment-related matters including recruitment, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald’s USA is not involved in the hiring process or employment decisions.
Role Overview
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of running a profitable quick service restaurant, ensuring it meets McDonald’s high standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Working collaboratively with senior leadership, they will establish the restaurant’s goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
This manager leads a team of Department Managers by setting their objectives, monitoring progress, and providing ongoing coaching and support to enhance departmental performance, which in turn improves overall restaurant outcomes. They may also play a key role in recruiting and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have prior experience as a General Manager with a background in quick service restaurant management or McDonald’s management experience. Strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to operational excellence are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive starting weekly salary between $1,124.20 and $1,200 (negotiable for experienced candidates)
- Annual salary range of $58,000 to $65,000
