Overview
This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and food products. The franchisee operates separately from McDonald's USA and handles all employment matters independently including hiring, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA is not involved in employment decisions or applicant processing.
Role Summary
The General Manager oversees the profitable operation of the restaurant while ensuring it meets McDonald's high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness. This leadership role involves working alongside senior management to set strategic goals and developing action plans to achieve them. The manager leads a team of Department Managers, supporting their goal setting, monitoring progress, coaching, and guiding improvements across various departments to boost overall restaurant performance.
Leadership and Team Development
The General Manager is also responsible for hiring and nurturing Department and Shift Managers, fostering leadership growth to build a strong team poised for future success.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess prior General Manager experience managing high-volume restaurants, preferably in quick service, hospitality, or retail sectors. Applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management positions in corporate-owned establishments.
