Position Context
This opportunity is at a McDonald's restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee exclusively manages all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA neither influences these decisions nor receives any application materials.
About the Role
As a General Manager, you will take charge of running a profitable restaurant while ensuring McDonald’s high standards for quality, customer service, and cleanliness are consistently met. Collaborating closely with your leader, you will establish clear objectives for the restaurant and devise strategic plans to achieve those goals.
Your leadership extends to guiding a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific areas within the restaurant. You will support them in defining targets, tracking progress, and coaching to enhance their departments, thereby strengthening overall restaurant performance.
Additionally, you may oversee the recruitment and development of Department and Shift Managers, ensuring a capable leadership pipeline to sustain long-term success.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume settings. Experience within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail environments is highly preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for management roles in corporate-owned restaurants.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000.
- Two weeks paid vacation annually.
