About the Role

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in managing a profitable restaurant while upholding McDonald's customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness, which are set at a very high level.
Responsibilities
The General Manager collaborates with leadership to set restaurant goals and devise plans to achieve them. This role includes leading a team of Department Managers, guiding them to set their individual goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and support to enhance departmental performance. By strengthening the departments, the overall restaurant operation improves. Additionally, the General Manager may oversee the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team for the future.
Additional Information
The compensation for certified General Managers ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 annually. This position is based at an independently owned franchise, not directly with McDonald's Corporation or McDonald's USA, LLC. Therefore, all employment matters—including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are managed solely by the franchisee.
