Position Overview
The role of General Manager entails overseeing the successful and profitable operation of a restaurant, ensuring adherence to McDonald's high standards for quality, customer service, and cleanliness. This leadership position involves collaborating with senior management to establish restaurant objectives and implementing strategies to meet these goals.
Team Leadership and Development
The General Manager heads a team of Department Managers, each responsible for specific operational areas. Responsibilities include goal setting, monitoring progress, and delivering coaching to optimize departmental performance, thereby enhancing overall restaurant success. This role also includes hiring and ongoing development of Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the future.
Work Environment and Employer Information
This opportunity is with an independently owned franchisee operating the restaurant under a license from McDonald's USA. Employment is with the franchisee, which handles all employment-related decisions such as hiring, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald's USA functions solely as a brand licensor and does not participate in employment decisions or application processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary ranges from $50,000 to $65,000 annually, competitive wages ranging between $48,500 to $75,000 yearly.
- Comprehensive benefits include free uniforms, health insurance covering 80% for single coverage, and a 401K program initiated in early 2020.
- Additional perks encompass yearly performance and wage reviews, direct deposit, free meals, quarterly and monthly bonus incentives (FAST, Voice, CEV), and paid vacations up to three weeks.

Candidate Profile
