About the Role
This job is for a position at a restaurant operated independently by a franchisee licensed to use McDonald's trademarks and food products. The franchisee acts as your employer and oversees all employment responsibilities including hiring, firing, supervision, scheduling, and discipline. McDonald’s USA is not involved in employment decisions or processes related to this job.
As a General Manager, your key responsibility is to oversee the restaurant's operations to ensure profitability while upholding stringent McDonald's standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This leadership role involves setting goals in partnership with your leadership and forming strategies to reach these objectives.
Team Leadership and Development
You will lead a group of managers with defined duties and nurture the skill development of Shift Managers to maintain a strong leadership pipeline, ensuring the restaurant operates effectively now and in the future.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Applicants should have prior General Manager experience, ideally managing high-volume establishments. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, though backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also valued. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this managerial position in corporate-owned restaurants.
Benefits and Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage between $23 and $40. Additionally, eligible General Managers at McDonald's owned restaurants may access extensive benefits such as:
