About the Role
This opportunity is for a General Manager position at a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and menu items. The franchisee is an autonomous employer responsible for all staffing and operational decisions, without McDonald's USA involvement in employment matters.
Role Overview
The General Manager leads the restaurant to achieve profitability while maintaining McDonald's high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This role involves setting restaurant goals alongside leadership and developing actionable plans to reach them.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure financial and service objectives are met.
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers, guiding them in setting and tracking their goals.
- Coach and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team.
- Enhance department performance to drive overall restaurant success.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations, preferably within quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a managerial role in corporate-owned restaurants.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
