About the Role and Employer
This opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and products. The franchisee is the direct employer, completely responsible for employment decisions such as hiring and scheduling. McDonald’s USA is not involved in employment or application processing.
Job Overview
The General Manager will oversee the profitable operation of the restaurant while maintaining McDonald's rigorous standards for quality, customer service, and cleanliness. This role demands strong leadership to set and accomplish business goals collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Department Managers by helping establish departmental objectives, monitoring progress, and providing coaching to improve operational performance.
- Collaborate with leadership to define restaurant-wide goals and develop actionable plans to meet them.
- Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team for the restaurant's future success.
- Ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s high standards in quality, service, and cleanliness consistently.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant possesses prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume quick service restaurants. Backgrounds in hospitality or retail are also relevant. The candidate must be at least 18 years old.
