Role Overview
This leadership position involves steering the ready-for-launch and operational activities for new retail and food & beverage ventures within C2i’s expanding collection. The role requires translating developmental and design milestones into comprehensive operational readiness, encompassing systems setup, supply chain management, recruitment and training efforts, standard operating procedures implementation, vendor integration, marketing coordination, and execution of openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a varied leadership and operational team including management, front office, finance, back office, and administrative staff.
- Enhance management team capabilities aligned to succession planning objectives.
- Create and enforce operating policies, processes, and standards for the management cadre.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to surpass goals and ensure high-quality execution standards.
- Manage conflict resolution, corrective measures, and coaching initiatives.
- Oversee timely completion of employee appraisals.
- Direct accounting functions to guarantee accurate and prompt financial reporting and safeguard cash handling.
- Hold full Profit & Loss responsibility adhering to budgeted Key Performance Indicators.
- Monitor financial performance continuously, authorizing purchase orders judiciously.
- Lead beverage program development, including strategic partnerships.
- Stay informed on external influences such as competition, government programs, legislation affecting operations.
- Negotiate and manage brand, partner, and third-party agreements with a continual improvement approach.
- Build and maintain strong external brand networks and actively pursue new collaborations.
- Partner with brands and operational leadership on menu finalization, pricing, and subsequent adjustments.
- Conduct monthly performance evaluations with brand teams to maintain unique market presence and reputation.
- Ensure proper inventory management and controls, audit processes including monthly reconciliations.
- Guarantee upkeep and cleanliness of all equipment via inspections and preventative maintenance compliance.
- Enforce strict receiving standards for all deliveries.
- Maintain smooth operations between front and back of house teams.
- Comply with health and safety regulations required by municipal and civil defense authorities, updating management accordingly.
- Foster excellent landlord relationships to secure ongoing contractual partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations on capital expenditure planning, budgeting, and local execution within approved limits.
- Implement cost efficiency strategies in coordination with operations leadership.
- Maintain business continuity through regular review of maintenance, hygiene, licensing, and safety protocols.
- Partner with HR and legal teams for adherence to employment laws and staff welfare.
- Continuously monitor external trends and regulations to mitigate operational risk.
- Lead timely contract negotiations for new brand introductions.

- Understanding of competitive market positioning, brand stewardship, and business growth strategies.
- Skilled in revenue management, marketing, and sales initiatives to optimize income.
- Knowledge of guest experience benchmarks and ability to consistently replicate quality across locations.
- Familiar with developing and enforcing SOPs and operational efficiency improvements.
- Familiarity with technology platforms such as Property Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management, Point-of-Sale, and digital marketing tools.
- Experience in managing capital investments, renovations, and property launches.
- Competence in asset management balancing customer satisfaction with financial goals.
- Analytical aptitude with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance guest loyalty and satisfaction metrics.
- Insight into market trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving customer expectations.
- Expertise in reputation management including online reviews, media interaction, and public relations.
