About the Role
This position is with a restaurant independently owned and operated under a license from McDonald's, separate from McDonald's USA. If hired, your employer will be the franchisee, responsible for all employment decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not participate in employment decisions or receive your application.
The General Manager oversees the profitable operation of the restaurant, ensuring it consistently meets the high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness set by McDonald's. Working collaboratively with leadership, you will set restaurant objectives and develop strategies to meet these targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Department Managers in setting and achieving their departmental goals.
- Monitor departmental performances and provide coaching and guidance to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of Department and Shift Managers to maintain a strong leadership team.
Candidate Profile
- Must be a graduate from an HU (assumed Higher University) and have prior experience at McDonald's.
- Previous experience as a General Manager running high volume quick service or hospitality/retail establishments is highly preferred.
- Ability to be physically active on your feet for up to 6 hours with lifting up to 25 pounds, including frequent bending and twisting.
