Key Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing a profitable restaurant while ensuring McDonald’s stringent customer expectations for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness are consistently met. This demanding role involves goal-setting with leadership and devising strategies to meet these targets.

The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, supporting them to establish and achieve their own objectives, tracking progress, and delivering guidance to improve departmental performance, subsequently enhancing overall restaurant results. Hiring and growing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable leadership team is also a critical part of this role.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants have prior experience as a General Manager managing high-volume outlets. Experience in quick service restaurants is highly preferred, although candidates with backgrounds in hospitality or retail may also be suitable.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is competitive, ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 annually. Additional benefits include paid vacations, personal days, 401k with profit sharing, a monthly bonus program, medical, dental and vision insurance, and coverage for disability, life, and accident insurance.
